MEET THE TEAM
At, Safe and Secure Churches Canada our diverse team of instructors, including Self Defence Instructors, Nurses and First Aid Professionals, Private Investigators, Police and former Military Personel, and more, are committed to sharing their expertise with you.
Neil is the founder of Safe and Secure Churches Canada and is uniquely qualified to teach on Church Safety. He is an Ordained Minister with over 30 years of ministry experience. He is a former Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, and Bible College Adjunct Faculty. He is a licensed Security Guard and Certified Close Protection Bodyguard, that has worked in Mall Security, Strike Security during labour disputes, Crowd Control at concerts and provided VIP Protection for several celebrities. Neil is a 6th Degree Black Belt in Karate and Self Defence with over 41 years of experience and has taught and competed across Canada and the United States. Neil heads up the Safety Team at his church which has grown recently to 1000 people.
Neil developed the Safe and Secure Churches training program after seeing a need for security programs that are professional and Christ centered, and are Canadian focused, i.e. not all about carrying guns. He uses his experience of working in ministry, martial arts and elf defence tactics, along with security and close protection experience to build a realistic Safety and Security program.
